Our Values

Inclusivity

We are proud to welcome everyone at The Drill; from our customers, to our staff, to the amazing performers you see on our stage, we actively encourage people from all walks of life to visit us, including those who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, the disabled community, and those from the global majority.

Sustainability

We are always evaluating how we can improve our sustainability as a business, and most recently we have begun our scheme to use reusable plastic cups for our gigs, as opposed to disposable. This will help us to reduce our plastic waste while maintaining the safety and ease of plastic cups. We also sell the majority of our tickets as e-tickets which can be downloaded onto your phone, which helps us reduce unnecessary paper waste.

Respect

We treat everyone who visits The Drill with professionalism, courtesy and openness, and ask that we receive the same in return. We’re a friendly and down-to-earth team, so if you want to chat with us, we’re here to listen and communicate with respect.

Passion

Everyone who works and performs at The Drill is really passionate about what they do. Many of the staff you see behind the bar, box office, and tech desk are also musicians, actors, and creatives who are excited to share in the live entertainment experiences with our customers. This genuine love for the work means that we care about making your visit to our venue the best it can possibly be.

Progress

As part of the Lincoln College Group, we have a vested interest in developing the skills of the next generation. We often welcome college students in the venue both as staff and performers, and are excited to be part of their professional and personal development. We also are always looking for creative ways in which we can innovate, and bring new and exciting events and projects to Lincoln.
